Amazon: revenue composition matters.

Amazon attributed North America operating-income growth primarily to unit and advertising sales, partially offset by higher operating costs. Ask which revenue streams strengthen the business economics.

Microsoft: gains can hide local pressure.

Revenue grew faster than operating expenses, while cloud gross-margin percentage declined as AI infrastructure scaled. Review business lines as well as consolidated gains.
